CHARLOTTE – (Dec. 22, 2023) Aviation Institute of Maintenance (AIM) is pleased to recognize Diego Sanchez, Dominique Fullwood, Shawna Ward, and Reanna Bennett recipients of a FEAM Aero Scholarship. This scholarship program provided up to $1,000 in funding to qualified students, assisting them with their tuition costs at the AIM Charlotte campus. AIM will double the value of the scholarship with an in-kind institutional grant as part of the scholarship match program.
To be eligible for the FEAM Aero Scholarship, applicants must obtain a high school diploma or equivalent, complete the online Scholarship Application, maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0, and uphold an attendance rate of 80% or higher throughout their program. The students’ commitment to their education and passion for aviation will help propel them toward a successful future in the industry.
Award recipient Dominique Fullwood said, “I am so grateful for this opportunity. I am trying to make my life better in the long run, and I still have some hard work ahead of me, but this goes a long way.”
Executives from FEAM Aero presented the deserving students with life-sized checks. These four students are now one step closer to achieving their dreams in the aviation industry. This scholarship recognizes the students’ dedication and hard work and provides them with additional financial support to finish their training at AIM.
Kelly Corn, Vice President of Human Resources at FEAM Aero said, “I am thrilled to represent FEAM Aero to award the scholarships to these very worthy recipients. Each one of these students worked hard to apply for the scholarships while juggling a busy school and work schedule, and we are happy to recognize them for their achievements. Congratulations to all and we cannot wait to see the impact that you will have on the aviation industry!”
